Jocelyn Greenky Moderates “Architecting the Pipeline” at the 2026 Talent Management Summit

At the marcus evans Talent Management Summit in Dallas (September 14–15, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas), Sider Road founder and CEO Jocelyn Greenky moderated the panel “Architecting the Pipeline: Preparing First-Time Leaders to Excel Amid Uncertainty.”

Leading a discussion with senior talent executives from Cisco, Comcast, and International Motors, Jocelyn pressed into one of the most under-supported moments in any career: the jump from doing the work to leading the people who do it.

Her framing for the room: companies too often promote their best individual contributor and treat leadership as a reward instead of a different job. Pipelines rarely fail for lack of training — they fail from the wrong selection and from throwing new leaders in without support.

“Pipelines don’t fail for lack of training — they fail from wrong selection and no scaffolding.” — Jocelyn Greenky

The conversation ranged from how to tell a strong individual contributor apart from a true future leader before promoting them, to whether uncertainty can actually be taught, to the question that quietly decides most of it: once someone’s promoted, whose job is it to make sure they succeed?

Jocelyn also joined the summit as a panelist on “Resilient Blueprint: Rebuilding Culture and Engagement in the Aftermath of Change.”
