Accept that diversity is the norm rather than the exception. Diversity goes beyond physical, characteristics of someone it includes how people think and perceive reality. The importance of diversity is frequently overlooked, and does more damage to moral than a budget or impractical schedule. Lack of accepting diversity results in: intolerance, arrogance, and loss of opportunity to capitalize on the different skills people can bring in the company or project.
